Arctic wolf

    ARCTIC WOLFS

Introduction:There scientific name is canis lupus arctos. Arctic wolfs are smaller then grey wolfs.


Arctic wolfs are predatory carnivores.Arctic wolfs hunt in packs for caribou and musk oxen. Also consume Arctic hares,Lemmings and other small animals.


Arctic wolfs inhabitat the arctic regions of North America and Greenland. 


Arctic wolfs have white fur. And there coat is long and silky and they are also slightly smaller in stature.The average weight for female wolfs are about 60 to 80 pounds and male wolfs are 70 to 110.There average height is 26 to 32 inches (At the shoulders)


Question: Did you know that the inner part of the fur is waterproof?
